CALENDARIdeas for When to Celebrate Police
Starting in January we are going to build a theme around every 15th. We will be encouraging citizens to take part. The sacred day every year is May 15 - so we are going to kick off the year like this:

Sunday, May 12 - Pray for Law Enforcement in America
Encourage your churches and houses of worship to prayer for the men and women in uniform, their colleagues and their families as well as the communities they so wonderfully serve. Let us all call on the churches and clergy in our state to rally their people to pray for our Police on Sunday and everyday of 2023. They need our prayers and intercessions like never before.
Monday, May 13 - Messaging Day
We will encourage citizens to do something to spread the message about how awesome our Police are (but also get talking points into our friends with media on what we feel are important to be discussed about Police).
Tuesday, May 14 - Treat Day
We will encourage citizens to do something to get treats to Officers. Buy their coffee, drop off a gift card to a local restaurant, etc.
Wednesday, May 15 - Peace Keeper Memorial Day
This is the sacred day that we will encourage people to attend local police memorials — and pray for a support fallen officers’ families etc. Please take time to watch via LiveStream the Memorial in Washington DC. Watch our Facebook Page for details.
Thursday, May 16 - Poster/Assembly Day
You know how America is big into protesting? Well, why can’t WE praise?! We are going to encourage citizens to create posters supporting Police and stand on street corners — or ask schools to hold assemblies where Police can come talk to students. Students can make posters and line the hallways of schools, etc. Moral of the story: do something to publicly praise Law Enforcement.
Friday, May 17 - Give Thanks Day
Do something to tell an officer thank you.
Saturday, May 18 - Celebration Day!
Make plans to do something as a family to let celebrate Police, so together we can take a stand as a state that WE BACK THE BADGE!
